Overlooking the beach at Porthcothan Bay on the north coast of Cornwall. An A4 photo printed on superior quality 270gsm glossy photo paper and then mounted in a 16" x 12" bevel cut white mount with backing board.
Porthcothan Bay is situated roughly five miles from the popular coastal town of Padstow on the stunningly beautiful north coast of Cornwall. Porthcothan Bay is a lovely beach of fine golden sand that is sheltered by the rugged cliffs of the headlands either side of the beach and like many of the beaches in Cornwall can get extremely busy during the summer months. By walking the coastal path one is treated to some spectacular views of this part of the north Cornwall coast as well Porthcothan Bay itself.
Porthcothan Beach and the clifftop fields nearby were used for the filming of Poldark, especially the shots of Ross riding his horse.
