Crackington Haven A4 mounted photo.
A beautiful sunny day overlooking the village and top end of the beach at Crackington Haven on the north coast of Cornwall.
The beach itself is fairly rocky and mostly covered in a mixture of sand and shingle, it's dominated by towering 400ft high cliffs (called The Crackington Formation), which go on to form some of the highest in Cornwall. It's great for scenic walks, making it one of the few points of shelter between Bude and Boscastle.
Until the nineteenth century, Crackington Haven was a small port similar to many others on the north coast of Cornwall. Limestone and coal were imported and slate and other local produce were exported.
Although Boscastle hit the news headlines in 2004 when the village was hit by flash floods, Crackington Haven also suffered significant damage during the rain storm.
An A4 photo printed on superior quality 270gsm glossy photo paper and then mounted in a 16" x 12" bevel cut white mount with backing board.
