The absolutely beautiful and picturesque Mother Iveys Bay is situated on the north coast of Cornwall, to the east of Trevose Head and to the west of the larger and more popular beach of Harlyn Bay. Mother Iveys Bay is roughly a 20 minute walk along the coastal path from Harlyn Bay and is a small secluded beach set back in a cove surrounded by turquoise waters. The bay takes its name from the legend of Mother Ivy who was a local wisewoman. To the west of the beach near Trevose Head is the Padstow lifeboat station.
