Looking along the flat golden sands of the beach at Trebarwith Strand on the north coast of Cornwall.
Trebarwith Strand lies approximately two miles south of the popular tourist village of Tintagel. It is one of the few accessible beaches along this stretch of North Cornwall coast and is owned by the National Trust.
The beach stretches for somewhere around 800 metres at low tide, but on a high spring tide, the beach disappears under the incoming tide. The view from the beach is dominated by rocks 300m offshore known as Gull Rock or Otterham Rocks.
Over the years Trebarwith Strand has been used as a location in several films. These include the 1974 film, "The Seaweed Children", "Saving Grace" (2000), "Oscar and Lucinda" (1997) and the 1996 production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night".
