The tranquil Trevaunance Cove at St.Agnes on the north coast of Cornwall.
Trevaunance Cove is a small bay on the north Cornish coast and a residential area of St Agnes. In the 18th and 19th centuries it was a busy harbour despite storms often destroying the quay.
Reminders of the area’s rich mining heritage are dotted around the cove, which is the main beach in the St Agnes parish area despite being more than a mile’s walk from the eponymous village centre.
Trevaunance Cove is the main beach at St Agnes, the cove is sheleted by high cliffs and still bears many remnants of its mining heritage and the once-thriving harbour (the last harbour wall being lost to an Atlantic storm in 1915).
